    Not every guest dances at the same time. This calculator estimates that approximately 25% of guests may dance at once during a light-dancing event, approximately 40% during a typical event, and approximately 50% during a dance-focused celebration.

    We also consider the event type because quinceañeras, school dances, and dance-focused receptions may benefit from more usable floor area than a corporate gathering or an event where dancing is secondary.

    The physical site still matters. The final recommendation may change based on the available footprint, guest layout, DJ or entertainment placement, line dancing, age groups, surface condition, floor levelness, venue rules, and how guests are expected to use the space.

    Grass installations generally require a suitable subfloor. Artificial turf, pavers, and other outdoor surfaces must be reviewed for levelness and stability. We do not install finished dance floor panels directly on dirt or gravel.
